Donna Thomas is a seasoned Media and Entertainment executive with a passion for content. A powerful business driver, she currently serves as Senior Vice President of Sales and is responsible for the Studio and Distributor clients.
An expert in the digital media space, Donna has worked every aspect of the content supply chain from creation through distribution. Prior to VUBIQUITY/Juice, she served as Vice President at Technicolor, as SVP, Distribution at Deluxe Entertainment Services and held the position of Senior Vice President for Discovery Networks.
Widely recognized as an industry leader, Donna has been named as one of the Most Powerful Women in Technology (CableWorld) in 2006, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and was selected to receive the prestigious 2016 LEA Award.
She is also the Founder and President of the Thomas Angel Foundation. The Thomas Angel Foundation has been partnered with Upright Citizens Brigade since 2013 to award scholarships to women in comedy. To date the foundation has dispersed $150,000 in scholarship funds since inception in 2001.
In addition to working on the business side of Media and Entertainment, Donna is a performer at heart. Donna was the 2016 winner of the iOWest Scripted Comedy Festival in the storytelling division and was a finalist in 2014 and 2015.
Donna completed a sold out run of her solo show “From Southern Belle to Mrs. Cartel” at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and was a finalist in the New York New Works Festival in New York City. This marks Donna’s debut as a playwright. Donna co-wrote, produced and acted in several Horror Shorts that have been selected to run in and won numerous festivals around the country.
